ProXL Refinishing Products support new talent for the industry!

ProXL Refinishing Products spent some time with the students at Colchester Institute who are enrolled in the Maintenance & Paint Refinishing Level 1 course. The course is designed to help students who want to enter the repair or refinishing side of the motor industry and is aimed at those who do not already work within the industry and wish to gain formal qualifications.

As a company, we understand just how important it is to develop the skills of determined young people who want to get into the industry. It’s clear there is a massive lack of fresh talent coming through the doors, with many businesses unable or unsure of offering those with limited experience a foot in the door. Courses like this offer students a tangible skill set they can take forward and we applaud all those involved – our industry desperately needs an injection of skilled and young talent.

The great news with this course is that, if the student is aged 16-18 on the first day of term time, it will be fully funded by the government. During our visit, we watched the group prepping panels with real enthusiasm, and it was fantastic to meet them all with their highly knowledgeable tutors; Julian Woodstock, Daniel Baker, Jake Reed and Area Head Kevin Doo.
